Yör | aldrig uden dig Tour 2026
Press release, 15 September 2025
Train - Posten - Store VEGA - Musikkens Hus - Fermaten
Yör postpone their tour and new album, both originally planned for this autumn. The announcement also carries a powerful message of solidarity.
After an intense year in the studio, Yör are postponing their planned autumn tour and new album due to illness within the band. The decision has been made out of care for the group, so that all four members can be there when the music returns to the stage.
“We write songs about navigating a brutally tough world, and right now we really feel that ourselves,” says lead singer Marie Kildebæk, referring to Yör’s hit “Benhård”, which featured on the soundtrack to DR’s documentary series “Kvindefængslet” and was sung by the winner of last year’s X Factor on TV 2.
The song is about how life can sometimes leave you bruised. That is what has happened to Yör now. Band member Viktor Dahl, who plays synthesisers, is on sick leave, and Yör wish to postpone both the tour and the album to give Viktor a chance to be ready for them.
“We want to do our best to look after our beloved Viktor,” the band said together in a message shared with fans on Instagram, continuing:
“Even though the tour has been postponed, you will still hear from us in the coming months. Over the past year, we have been working on our next album, and we are incredibly excited to share it with you before too long. The album is called aldrig uden dig. A title that has never felt more right than it does now,” the band say in the same message.
As part of the update, Yör will release the single jeg går aldrig uden dig on 25 September 2025. At the same time, the band reveal the album title aldrig uden dig, due in spring 2026 through Nordic Music Society.
The album will be released in spring 2026 and the tour begins on 25 September 2026. All tickets will automatically transfer to the new concerts, and refunds are also available.
Before then, Yör will release a new single from the upcoming album, “jeg går aldrig uden dig”, which also gives the tour its name. The song captures where Yör find themselves now, both as a band and as friends.
“The single is for those who are at rock bottom, and the song is an extension of your outstretched hand, letting them know you are there for them. It is about being connected and devoted to another person - or to your group,” explain Yör.
The upcoming album explores what we inherit from family and the past, and which parts we choose to carry into adult life: whether that means starting a family or friendships that deepen into a chosen family.
“It affirms the inner necessity we feel when we think about what matters in our lives. aldrig uden dig addresses both the people you never want to be without and ‘you’ as in yourself,” says Marie Kildebæk.

About Yör
Yör are the sound of dreamy, raw honesty, drawing listeners into an authentic and immersive indie-pop world that blends the delicate and intimate with the grand and explosive. Their distinctive lyrics unfold in a dreamlike mix of organic and electronic instruments, centred on Marie Kildebæk’s captivating voice and lyrical talent. The music is framed by raw textures and driven by striking beats, bass and majestic synth landscapes, ranging from indie techno to intimate ballads.
In autumn 2023, Yör released their acclaimed debut album, intet så rigtigt. Ralf Christensen of Information praised the track “Badekar”, writing: “There is a simple logic and a naive beauty in the lyrics and music.”
When critics say that Marie Kildebæk “encapsulates a new generation in a single, tremblingly beautiful sentence” - through the line “how can the body be rock-hard / and at the same time so fragile” (Kim Skotte of Politiken on “Benhård”) - it speaks to a voice and songwriting that resonate deeply with the spirit of 2025. “Benhård” also featured in DR’s documentary Kvindefængslet, alongside the rest of the debut album, in X Factor 2025, and among Denmark’s most Shazamed songs in 2024.
In 2025, Yör were named Band of the Year at Den Uafhængige, underlining their significant impact on the Danish music scene. Yör consists of members and friends Marie Kildebæk (vocals), Viktor Dahl (synth), Janus Bagh (bass) and Lasse Jacobsen (drums).
