For the past 15 years, Mik Thybo, the man behind Calby, has produced music for others and released music under his own name. When he teamed up with Magnus Larsson from the band Lukas Graham, he found his sound, which is a refreshing take on 60s soul music.
In 2020, Calby made a massive breakthrough with the debut album 'Burnout'. Now he is back with a carefully crafted album ‘Inner Critic Choice Awards’ where he confronts his inner critic that pops up during the songwriting process. The title plays with the definition of what it means to be successful.
