Michael Learns To Rock get closer to their audience on a new Danish tour
One of Denmark’s greatest international success stories is coming home. Following major arena shows, Michael Learns To Rock are ready to invite audiences into a more intimate setting, bringing the music and its stories up close at 12 Danish concert halls.
Michael Learns To Rock have delighted pop fans across continents for more than three decades. Their spectacular journey, unlike any other in Danish music, has repeatedly taken the hit-making trio to sold-out arenas across much of Asia and on tours of the USA and Australia.
In spring 2026, a long-held dream came true for Michael Learns To Rock. After more than three decades of sold-out concerts abroad, Jascha Richter, Kåre Wanscher and Mikkel Lentz had the opportunity to bring the concert experience they had developed around the world home to Denmark.
When the band tour the country in February and March 2027, they will open the door to another side of Michael Learns To Rock. While the arena concerts showed the full scale of the band’s international stature, the new tour brings audiences closer to the songs, the stories and the three musicians. The band explain:
“It was a huge dream for us to bring the concert experience we have built around the world over more than 30 years home to Denmark. The concerts earlier this year were something truly special. Now we are looking forward to showing another side of Michael Learns To Rock and getting even closer to the audience, the songs and the stories behind them.”
Michael Learns To Rock formed in 1988 and enjoyed enormous success throughout the 1990s. With more than 11 million albums sold, over six billion streams and continuing sold-out tours worldwide, the band are one of Denmark’s biggest musical exports of all time.
Audiences can therefore look forward to some very special evenings with Michael Learns To Rock as they visit concert halls, music theatres and stages in 12 cities. Tickets on sale at kin.dk/mltr.
