Fading Into Golden captures what it means to mature as both a person and a musician. With moving songs such as I'm Just Getting Started, For The Love Of You and Bittersweet, HUSH explore life’s contrasts, from longing for the past to embracing the present. The album reflects on finding happiness and presence in small glimpses, even as time passes.
“I want to celebrate growing up and becoming more mature,” says Dorthe Gerlach. “Although I sometimes wish I were 25 again, I am more comfortable with who I am today. It is about finding strength in experience and still having something to say.”
With Fading Into Golden Tour 2025, HUSH invite audiences on a journey combining their new songs with the classics that have accompanied them through the decades. From intimate ballads to grand musical moments, the duo and their wonderful band create an experience connecting them with audiences across generations.
“We always work from the principle that the songs should be felt,” says Michael Hartmann. “It is not about tempo, but about finding the place where Dorthe’s voice and the lyrics truly unfold.”
Spanning 30 concerts, the tour offers a unique chance to hear HUSH’s latest album live alongside the timeless hits that have cemented their place on the Danish music scene. From their biggest-ever Copenhagen concert at Det Kongelige Teater to smaller, intimate venues across the country, Fading Into Golden Tour celebrates HUSH’s past, present and future.
Their relationship with the audience has always been central to the duo, and the tour lets them create new moments of magic and closeness. “For me, happiness is not a place you arrive at. It keeps appearing in glimpses,” says Dorthe Gerlach. “And it is the connection to other people that concerts create that makes it all worthwhile.”
