Calby | Unplugged & Solo 2024

Following a nationwide tour with a full band in 2023, Calby now strips things right back as he heads out on his first solo tour this November.

With millions of streams and a Grammy winner on his team, Calby made a major breakthrough in 2020.

His debut album Burnout received several five-star reviews, while its Carl Prisen-winning title track became the year’s second-most-played song on P3. Then came a quiet period. The new songs had to be the right ones, and once again Calby was willing to go the extra mile to ensure both intensity and a great sound.

He succeeded, releasing “Inner Critic’s Choice Awards” in autumn 2023. Now Calby invites his audience to hear both new and old songs in a pure, raw form at four solo concerts: just him and his guitar.

“Most of my songs begin when I am sitting alone with my guitar, and I feel a need to explore what happens when I stand on stage with only my songs alongside me. It is a concert format I have always loved, and it will be an exciting way to meet. I am looking forward to it enormously.”

The concerts on the tour will be more than live performances: they will be intimate encounters with Calby’s musical world and songwriting. From the raw storytelling of the hit single ‘Burnout’ to the moving ‘Heartbeat’ from his second album, Calby invites audiences into the heart of his creative process when he visits Odense, Aalborg, Copenhagen and Aarhus in November.
